Initially trained as a physiotherapist, Catherine spent a number of years working in the Australian health care system before moving to occupational health and risk management roles within business. Further studies in Business including an MBA supported her positions of Human Resources Manager within banking and the health and community care sectors.
Completing her law degree in 2007, Catherine was subsequently admitted to the Supreme Court of Queensland. She has worked in private practice and as the company secretary and governance executive for a number of business boards. While in Jakarta with her family, Catherine completed her Graduate Diploma of Governance through the Governance Institute of Australia and was a Board member and supported the Board function at the British School Jakarta.
